The Petunia Project
Dear Friends,
The Petunia Project is a donation effort that will go hand-in-hand with the distribution of our movie. We’re inviting our audiences to turn the emotion of the film into real-world impact. We’re asking viewers to contribute what they can to help us continue this mission beyond the theater.
Every piece of vet paperwork shown in the film is real: documents my wife and I received while pursuing emergency care for Petunia. We were navigating fear, uncertainty, and the overwhelming cost of trying to save a loved pet.
Fifty percent of all donations go directly toward marketing and distribution for the Petunia feature film. While it may seem unconventional for a donation effort, expanding the film’s reach is essential because the real emotions audiences feel while watching can spark broader awareness and conversation, ultimately helping more people understand and prepare for the realities of emergency pet healthcare.
The remaining 50% of donations is given to local organizations dedicated to pet healthcare, supporting those in situations like Alex and Lily’s in the film. While donations to The Petunia Project are not tax-deductible, they directly contribute to both spreading awareness and providing tangible help to pets and families in need.
If this movie moved you, and you’d like to make a real difference for pets and pet owners, please share this page with a friend and consider donating here:
All donations of $20+ will be shouted out on our website.
